Hyper Front mobile is a brand new tactical shooter with a gameplay and visual style similar to Valorant, the PC game Riot 5v5, which is also coming to mobile devices. It was created by Netease, a company with a lot of experience with mobile games. Overall, it’s a pretty decent and fun game, but its similarity to Valorant can lead to some problems.

At first glance, the game looks pretty well made and polished. Anyone who has ever played Valorant will be able to tell that this game is a clone of the extremely popular game Riot. That said, the gameplay isn’t bad and is actually quite fun and enjoyable.

Hyper Front is a pretty challenging but enjoyable experience with some challenges here and there. The maps are well designed, although the revival points could use some work on them. There is a casual mode with classic mode, Battle to the Death, Arms Race and Conquest mode (Arms Race and Conquest mode are not yet available but coming soon), while the ranked mode is a ranked search and destroy mode with higher stakes in which players can move up. the ranks.

The weapon balance could be a little better, and it seems that snipers sometimes don’t do enough damage even with chest shots. In addition, players may encounter a slight lag, which could be fixed as Netease sets up servers in more places.

Players can choose from a variety of different heroes to use in combat. Each character has two special abilities and one higher ability, as well as cool looks and individually voiced phrases. Many of the abilities seem to be copied directly from Valorant with special arrows that can show enemies, healing, walls and more.

The game also has a colorful and futuristic look, which actually works quite well, although again very similar to Valorant. Hyper Front has bots that intervene if there aren’t many players online, but they really aren’t the best in the game like the bots from Call of Duty: Mobile, so a little boost to their abilities might be better.

By embarking on an arsenal, players can earn in-game currency after each round in search-and-destroy mode, which they can use for better defense, abilities, secondary pistols, assault rifles, submachine guns, handguns and sniper rifles. Once again, the game replicates Valorant. The number of guns, and even their firing modes and design are very similar. While players can outfit weapon skins, there is no ability to customize attachments or make any changes, which really isn’t a bad thing, but games like Call of Duty: Mobile have gunsmiths who allow for better weapon customization.

Graphically, the game looks beautiful. Players can adjust visual settings to make the game look better or run smoother. As mentioned earlier, the visual style is heavily inspired by Valorant. The maps are quite detailed with lots of color. The sound balance could have been a little better, although at times it is not easy to tell if a firefight is close or far away.

The controls are pretty decent and not too cramped. There are the usual virtual joysticks on either side for moving and looking around, as well as a crouch, jump, two triggers, and a stealth button that reduces the sound of your footsteps. The user interface is pretty clean and simple and has some elements very similar to Valorant. Not much to say about it.

Since the game is still in open beta testing, there are no purchases in the app, although there probably will be in the future, as players will be able to buy in-game currency and then combat passes and weapon skins. Speaking of weapon skins, some of the skins actually look pretty cool and even have animations, and can also be purchased with free game currency, so they might be worth buying or grinding up.

Despite the fact that Hyper Front is based on, or rather copies, another popular game, it’s definitely worth playing. It has solid gameplay, beautiful visuals and graphics, and is just very polished and clean throughout. Hyper Front may even be one of the most beautiful and feel-good FPS games released in recent memory.

However, considering how Combat Master, a game that was recently supposed to return after its release, became popular as a Modern Warfare clone for mobile devices and then was removed from the Play Store and App Store. Perhaps something similar will happen to this game, as Riot Games intends to release a mobile version of Valorant soon. Although Netease should have done the original design, they should probably do it now, since it is not too late and they can still change something.
